You cancel
The airline's fare rules decide whether the ticket is refundable. The original Fareglitch service fee is generally not refunded.

When travel plans change
This policy explains what happens when you cancel, an airline changes your flight, a ticket cannot be issued, or you need to request a refund.
The useful version first
The result depends mostly on who changed the booking and what the airline's fare rules allow. We show the expected costs before processing where possible.
The airline's fare rules decide whether the ticket is refundable. The original Fareglitch service fee is generally not refunded.
You may be entitled to rerouting or reimbursement. We return the Fareglitch service fee where applicable law requires it.
You normally pay the airline's change fee, any fare difference and any Fareglitch administration fee shown before confirmation.
If we collect payment but cannot issue the booking, you may reject any replacement and receive a full reversal or refund.
This Refund, Cancellation and Booking Changes Policy applies to flight bookings made through Fareglitch.
It should be read together with the Fareglitch Terms of Use, the relevant airline's fare rules, the airline's conditions of carriage and any mandatory passenger-rights law that applies to your journey.
Where mandatory law gives you stronger rights than this Policy, mandatory law prevails.
The Fareglitch service fee is generally non-refundable.
Mandatory passenger rights remain fully available to you.
Nothing is changed until you approve the final cost.
You do not have to accept a replacement flight.
Every ticket has its own conditions. Depending on the fare, a ticket may be refundable, partially refundable, non-refundable, changeable for a fee or completely non-changeable.
The conditions shown before purchase are based on information supplied by the airline or booking provider. The airline's confirmed fare rules remain the final source for cancellation and change eligibility.
A low fare may exclude refunds, checked baggage, seat selection or free changes. Review the conditions before payment, not after.
To cancel a confirmed booking, you must submit a cancellation request. A message asking about cancellation does not itself cancel the booking.
When we receive your request, we will normally:
The final refund may be reduced by non-refundable fare amounts, airline fees, supplier charges, used services or other lawful deductions.
The original Fareglitch service or booking fee is generally non-refundable when a successfully issued booking is voluntarily cancelled by you.
The fee covers work already carried out, including offer processing, price validation, payment handling, booking creation, ticketing support and booking administration.
We may refund the service fee where:
If an airline cancels your flight, your options may include rerouting, an alternative flight, reimbursement, care, assistance or compensation depending on the route, circumstances and applicable law.
We will not require you to accept airline credit instead of a monetary refund unless you choose it voluntarily or the law permits otherwise.
Where you are legally entitled to reimbursement, the amount returned will include the Fareglitch intermediary or service fee to the extent required by applicable law.
Airline refunds may first need to pass through the airline, ticketing provider, Fareglitch, Stripe and your bank. We will not unreasonably delay our part after the necessary funds and information are available.
Airlines may change departure times, arrival times, flight numbers, terminals, airports, operating carriers or aircraft.
A minor schedule change may not create a right to free cancellation. A significant change may provide cancellation, refund or rerouting rights under airline rules or applicable passenger-rights law.
We will communicate the options supplied by the airline or booking provider after we receive them.
If you ask to change a confirmed booking, you may need to pay:
We will not make an optional paid change until you have approved the known price. A change is not final until the airline accepts it and updated confirmation is issued.
Where the airline cancels or significantly changes a flight and is responsible for rerouting you, Fareglitch will not charge an ordinary market fare difference merely for accepting the airline-provided rerouting option.
The airline's available alternatives and mandatory passenger-rights rules determine which replacement options must be offered.
Passenger names should match the travel document used for the journey. Airlines may permit minor spelling corrections, require ticket reissuance, charge a fee or prohibit transferring a ticket to another person.
You are responsible for checking passenger information before payment. We will assist with a correction request where possible, but the airline decides whether the correction is allowed and what it costs.
A rare price change, provider error or airline rejection may occur between payment and final ticket issuance.
If Fareglitch collects payment but cannot issue the booking at the agreed price, we may offer a replacement. You are free to reject it.
If no booking is completed, we will release, reverse or refund the full amount collected. We will not keep the Fareglitch service fee for a flight booking that was never successfully issued.
Approved refunds are normally returned to the original payment method. We may request reasonable identity, booking or payment verification before processing.
The time at which a refund appears in your account depends partly on providers outside Fareglitch's control. We will process our part without unreasonable delay after approval and receipt of any required funds.
A refund may be partial where:
We will provide the available calculation before processing where reasonably possible.
Once one or more flight segments have been used, the remaining refund depends on the fare rules, unused segments, disruption reason, applicable law and the airline's calculation.
Skipping one segment may cause the airline to cancel later segments on the same ticket. Contact Fareglitch or the airline before intentionally missing a flight.
Cancellation or delay of one flight does not automatically create a refund or free change for another flight booked on a different ticket.
For self-transfer itineraries:
Checked baggage, seat selection, meals, priority boarding and other extras may have refund rules that differ from the flight ticket.
Some extras are non-refundable even when the underlying fare is refundable. Where the airline cancels the service, mandatory law and the provider's rules determine whether the extra must also be refunded.
If you do not arrive for a flight or fail to check in on time, the airline may treat you as a no-show and cancel remaining segments.
No-show tickets are frequently non-refundable or subject to substantial fees. Fareglitch is not responsible where a flight is missed because of late arrival, invalid documents or a failed self-transfer.
Contact us before starting a chargeback so we can try to resolve the issue. A chargeback does not itself cancel a flight booking.
We may contest an unjustified or fraudulent chargeback and provide relevant booking and payment records to the payment provider.
Nothing here limits your right to dispute an unauthorised or incorrectly processed payment.
Deleting your Fareglitch account does not cancel a flight booking and does not create a refund request.
Booking and payment records may remain stored after account deletion where required for travel fulfilment, refunds, accounting, fraud prevention, disputes or other legal obligations.
